Plasta Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and us about using Plasta. They are written to be read, so please do read them — particularly section 8 on virtual currency and section 17 on our liability.
1. Accepting these Terms
Plasta is a strategy card game for iPhone, operated by Chaz Mitchell (“we”, “us”), an individual developer based in California, United States. By downloading, opening or playing Plasta you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, please do not use Plasta.
These Terms cover the Plasta game and its online services. They sit alongside — and do not replace — Apple’s own terms for the App Store; see section 20.
2. Who can use Plasta
You must be at least 13 years old to use Plasta, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using an online service of this kind. Plasta is not designed for or directed at children.
By using Plasta you confirm that you meet that age requirement, and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.
3. Your licence to use Plasta
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use Plasta on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules.
You may not sell, rent, sub-license or commercially exploit Plasta or any part of it; copy or modify it except as the law expressly permits; reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable where you live; or remove any notices it contains.
4. Your account
Plasta creates an account for you automatically the first time you open it, so that you can play immediately. This is a guest account. You may later sign in with Apple or Google to create a registered account, which keeps the progress you already have.
- Guest accounts cannot claim a unique username. Guest accounts can buy Diamonds — signing in is not required to make a purchase.
- A guest account cannot be recovered. It exists only in the app on that one device. If you delete Plasta, change device, or the app’s stored data is cleared, the account and its progress are gone permanently, and neither you nor we can restore them. This includes any Diamonds you bought as a guest. Diamonds are a consumable item, so Apple does not restore them either. If your progress or your Diamonds matter to you, sign in with Apple or Google.
- If you sign in with an Apple or Google account that already has a Plasta account, you will be taken to that existing account. The Diamonds remaining on the guest account you were using are added to it, once. Other progress on that guest account — level, statistics, achievements and cosmetics — is not merged into it.
- You may hold one account per sign-in identity. Do not create accounts to evade a suspension.
5. Keeping your account secure
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure — which mostly means keeping your Apple or Google account secure, since that is what signs you in. Plasta never sets or stores a password of its own.
Tell us at realplastaapp@gmail.com if you believe someone else is using your account.
6. Names and usernames
You choose the name other players see. Registered accounts can claim a username, which is unique across Plasta; guest accounts have a display name only, which is not reserved.
Your name must not be unlawful, hateful, obscene, harassing, or a slur; impersonate another person, or impersonate Plasta staff or an official account; infringe anyone’s rights; or exist mainly to advertise something.
Names are screened automatically when chosen, but that screening is not perfect and passing it is not our approval. We may change or remove a name that breaks these rules, and may suspend the account behind it. A username is a label we let you use, not property you own, and we cannot guarantee that any particular name will remain available to you.
If you see a name you think breaks these rules, email realplastaapp@gmail.com.
7. Fair play and conduct
Plasta is a competitive game and it only works if people play it honestly. You agree not to:
- cheat, or exploit a bug or flaw, to gain an advantage or to affect currency, XP, achievements, rank, statistics or match results;
- use modified clients, injected code, automation, bots, or any tool that plays for you or alters how the game behaves;
- manipulate matches — including deliberately losing, colluding with an opponent, or arranging results to move a rank;
- deliberately disrupt other players’ matches, including by repeatedly abandoning them;
- harass, abuse, threaten or impersonate other players;
- buy, sell, trade or transfer accounts, usernames, virtual currency or items, or offer to;
- attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, probe or interfere with our systems or our providers’, or place unreasonable load on them;
- use Plasta for anything unlawful.
If you find a security flaw, please report it to realplastaapp@gmail.com rather than exploiting it. We would rather hear from you.
8. Virtual currency and items
Plasta has two in-game currencies — Bucks and Diamonds — and virtual items such as table designs and other cosmetics. Bucks are earned by playing. Diamonds are earned by playing and can also be bought (see section 9). Please be clear about what these are:
- They have no monetary value. They are not money, credit, or any kind of financial product or asset.
- They cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for anything outside Plasta, and cannot be transferred, sold, or given to another player.
- You do not own them. What you get is a limited, personal, revocable licence to use them inside Plasta. You have no property right or ownership interest in them, and no right to any balance.
- We may change, adjust, or remove currency, items, prices in currency, rewards and how they are earned, and we may correct balances that arose from a bug, a fault, or a breach of these Terms.
- Unused balances and items are lost when your account is deleted, whether you delete it or we terminate it under section 12, and are not refunded.
- If Plasta or an online service is discontinued, virtual currency and items may cease to be usable. Nothing here promises they will exist forever.
9. Purchases
- Plasta offers packs of Diamonds as consumable in-app purchases. Diamonds are consumed when you spend them.
- Apple processes every purchase through your App Store account. The price shown is set through the App Store in your local currency, and your payment relationship for the transaction is with Apple.
- Diamonds are added to your account once Apple’s confirmation of the purchase has been verified. A purchase can only ever be credited once.
- You do not need an account to buy Diamonds. Guests can purchase, and signing in or registering is never required first. Diamonds are credited to whichever account is active in the app at the time of the purchase — including a guest account.
- Diamonds bought on a guest account are tied to that installation of Plasta. They are not stored against any email address or sign-in identity, so they cannot be recovered if you delete Plasta, change device, or the app’s stored data is cleared. Signing in with Apple or Google keeps them: if you sign in to a Plasta account you already have, the Diamonds remaining on the guest account are added to it once.
- Because Diamonds are consumable, Apple does not restore them and Plasta has no restore-purchases function. A purchase that has not yet been credited is recovered automatically — the steps are set out on the Plasta support site.
- Purchases are for your own personal use in Plasta. Buying Diamonds is not an investment and gives you no stake in Plasta.
10. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies, not by us. We cannot issue, approve, or reverse a charge. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com or your device’s purchase history.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory refund, cancellation or consumer right you have under the law where you live, and nothing in them requires you to give those rights up.
11. Plasta is not gambling
Plasta is a card game played for entertainment. To be unambiguous:
- You cannot wager real money on a match, a round, or any outcome in Plasta.
- There are no real-money prizes. Ranked play, leaderboards, achievements and daily challenges award in-game rewards only.
- Bucks, Diamonds, XP, ranks, achievements and cosmetic items cannot be cashed out or exchanged for money, goods, or anything of value outside the game.
- Plasta runs no lottery, sweepstake, raffle, contest or prize promotion.
Some items and achievements have card-room-flavoured names. They are decorative names for in-game rewards and nothing more.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Plasta, or remove or reset a name, balance or progress, if you break these Terms — in particular section 6 or section 7 — or if we are required to by law.
Where it is reasonable and proportionate to do so, we will aim to match the response to the seriousness of what happened, and to tell you what has happened and why. If you believe we have got it wrong, email realplastaapp@gmail.com and we will look at it again.
If your account is terminated for breaking these Terms, virtual currency and items on it are lost and are not refunded.
You can stop using Plasta at any time by deleting the app, and you can delete your account as described below.
13. Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time: Player Profile (tap your player name or level badge at the top of any menu screen) › ACCOUNT › Delete Account.
Deletion is permanent. Progress, statistics, achievements, cosmetics and any remaining Bucks and Diamonds — including Diamonds you paid for — are lost and are not refunded. A record of purchases is kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
See Account and Data Deletion for the full detail.
14. Our content
Plasta, its name, its artwork, sounds, music, interface and code are © 2026 Chaz Mitchell, or belong to our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms give you a licence to play Plasta; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
The underlying rules of the traditional card game Plasta belongs to are not claimed by us.
15. Your feedback
If you send us an idea, suggestion or bug report, thank you. You agree we may use it to improve Plasta without any obligation, payment or confidentiality, and without it giving you a claim over anything we build. You keep the right to use your own idea yourself. We are not asking you to send confidential information, so please do not.
16. Availability, updates and changes
Plasta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Online features depend on your internet connection and on third-party infrastructure, and may be interrupted, delayed, changed, limited or discontinued.
We may update Plasta, add or remove features and game modes, adjust game balance, or discontinue an online service. We will try to give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you have already paid for, where it is practical to do so.
17. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, Plasta is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Plasta will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that progress, matches or data will never be lost.
Some countries do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, and this section does not remove any right you have that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, game progress, virtual currency or virtual items, arising from or connected to your use of Plasta.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected to Plasta is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Plasta in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ten US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
19. Your responsibility for misuse
If you use Plasta unlawfully, or in serious breach of section 7, and that causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to be responsible for the reasonable costs and damages that result from it. This applies only to claims arising from your own conduct, and only to the extent the law allows. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it in a way that creates an obligation for you without asking you first.
20. Apple
Plasta is distributed through the App Store, and your download and use of the app is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These Terms are additional rules about Plasta and the online service we run; they do not replace Apple’s agreement. If a term here directly conflicts with Apple’s standard EULA in a way that cannot be reconciled, Apple’s agreement governs the licence to the app itself.
For clarity:
- These Terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for Plasta and for the online service, and for support. Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for Plasta.
- Apple is not responsible for operating Plasta’s online services, for its content, or for addressing any claim about it — including product liability claims, claims that it fails to conform to a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar law.
- If a third party claims that Plasta infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for handling that claim.
- Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, Plasta’s ranked play, leaderboards, achievements, daily challenges or any other in-game activity.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government restricted-parties list.
Google is not a party to these Terms either, and is not responsible for Plasta. Google Sign-In is offered as a way to sign in and nothing more.
21. Governing law and disputes
If something goes wrong, please email realplastaapp@gmail.com first. Most problems are quicker to fix directly than formally, and we would rather sort it out with you.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Plasta, are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles — except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, that exception matters and we mean it. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings in the courts there. Nothing in these Terms takes that away, requires you to arbitrate, requires you to waive a class action, or requires you to give up any right you have under your local law.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Plasta changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and the current version is always published here. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make that clear rather than relying on the date alone. If you keep using Plasta after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you; if you do not accept them, please stop using Plasta and delete your account.
