Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your Plasta account and its data yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to email us to start it, and you do not need to explain why.
Deleting is not the same as signing out
Signing out leaves your account and everything in it exactly where it is; you can sign back in and pick up where you left off.
Deleting removes the account and its progress. It cannot be undone, and we cannot bring it back for you afterwards.
How to delete your account
- Open Plasta.
- Tap your player name or the level badge at the top of any menu screen. This opens Player Profile.
- Scroll down to the ACCOUNT section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, type DELETE into the box, and tap Delete Forever.
- If you are signed in, you will be asked to confirm it is you using the same service you signed in with — Apple or Google. This happens before anything is deleted, so cancelling here leaves your account exactly as it was.
This is available whether you signed in with Apple or Google, or have been playing as a guest.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes your player record and everything stored on it:
- your display name or username, and your avatar initials;
- your level, XP and lifetime XP;
- your Bucks and Diamonds balances, including any Diamonds you paid for;
- your match statistics, win/loss record and streaks;
- your achievements;
- your ranked rating, rank, and recent ranked match history;
- your unlocked cosmetics and the items you have equipped;
- your player code, and the date your account was created and last seen;
- your email address, which is held in a separate private record;
- your friendships and friend requests;
- the sign-in record itself, so the Apple or Google account is no longer connected to Plasta;
- your Sign in with Apple authorization, if you used Apple — see below;
- your account data cached on the device.
Because you disappear from the player records, you also disappear from the leaderboards.
Deletion happens immediately when you confirm it — it is not queued for later processing.
What is kept, and why
We would rather tell you this plainly than let you find out later.
Records of purchases
If you have bought Diamonds, we keep a record of the purchase: an account reference, which pack it was, how many Diamonds it granted, Apple’s transaction reference, and when it happened. It contains no payment card details and no Apple ID.
This record is what stops a single purchase being credited twice, and it is the kind of financial record that is normally kept for tax and fraud-prevention purposes. It is not readable by other players, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
If you moved Diamonds from a guest account onto this one by signing in, we also keep a note that the move happened — the two account references and the amount, and nothing more. It is kept for the same reason: it is what stops the same guest balance being claimed a second time. It survives deletion deliberately, so deleting an account cannot be used to claim those Diamonds again.
Your username may stay reserved
If you claimed a unique username, that name may remain reserved after deletion and may not become available again — including to you, if you make a new account. Ask us if this affects you.
Short-lived match and invite records
Records of online lobbies and invites you took part in are not removed by the deletion step. They contain the name you played under, and they are cleared as matches end and invites lapse rather than at the moment you delete.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps operational logs, which can include an account reference for events such as a completed purchase. These are held for a limited period by the provider and are not used to identify or profile players.
Apple’s own records
Anything you bought through the App Store stays in Apple’s purchase and billing history. That is Apple’s record, not ours, and deleting your Plasta account does not and cannot change it.
Some settings on your device
A few local preferences, such as your audio volume settings, are left on the device. Deleting the app removes them.
If you signed in with Apple
Plasta releases your Sign in with Apple authorization as part of deleting your account. You do not have to do anything extra: Plasta asks Apple to revoke it before any of your data is removed, so the app stops being connected to your Apple Account at the same time as your player record disappears.
That is why deleting a signed-in account asks you to authorize with Apple one last time — that confirmation is what allows the authorization to be released. Cancelling it stops the deletion entirely; nothing is removed.
In the rare case we cannot reach Apple to release it, Plasta tells you so rather than pretending it worked. If that happens you can finish it yourself:
Settings › tap your name at the top › Sign in with Apple (under Sign-In & Security on recent versions of iOS) › select Plasta › Stop using Apple Account.
If you are playing as a guest
Guest accounts can be deleted the same way, and the same things are removed.
One thing that surprises people: after you delete a guest account, Plasta immediately creates a fresh guest account for you so the app still works. You are not signed out — you are now a different guest, with a new empty profile and the usual starting balance.
That is the deletion working, not failing. The old guest account and its progress are gone and cannot be restored.
If deletion doesn’t complete
The confirmation step fails or you dismiss it
Plasta asks you to confirm who you are, with Apple or Google, before deleting a signed-in account. If you dismiss that prompt or it does not complete, your account is not deleted — nothing at all is removed until it passes. Just tap Delete Account again and complete the prompt.
You are told Plasta could not reach Apple
Nothing was deleted. Plasta will not remove your account while your Apple authorization is still outstanding, because that would leave Plasta attached to your Apple Account with no way for you to detach it from inside the app. Check your connection and try again.
You are told your data was deleted but your sign-in was not fully removed
This means your player record and its data are gone, but the sign-in record could not be removed at that moment. Sign in again later and repeat the delete step to finish it, or email us and we will finish it for you.
Asking us to delete it for you
If you cannot use the in-app option for any reason — you have lost access to the device, the confirmation step will not pass, or the app will not open — email us and we will handle it:
Please include your username or display name, and the sign-in method you used (Apple, Google, or guest), so we can find the right account. Do not send your password, Apple ID or Google credentials, or any payment details — we do not need them and will never ask for them.
Guest accounts are difficult to identify from an email alone, because there is no email address or username attached to them. If you are a guest, deleting in the app is by far the most reliable route.
